I was born in Hong Kong, and had a wonderful early childhood. However, my dad suddenly passed away when I was ten years old which resulted in my mom and her seven children moving to a small apartment. I still remember sleeping on the floor in a tiny area in front of the door. I was sad, confuse, and became withdrawn. I didn't talk very much, so I began to draw hours at a time. I loved the feeling that drawing gave me, an escape from reality and the imagination of a better life in the future.

As I grew, I started taking art classes in my local community center. I learned how to use water color, pencil, pastel, and acrylic. During my early college years at First Institute of Art and Design in Hong Kong, I struggled between choosing art or design for my future. For economic reasons, I chose design and worked in the fashion field. My study took me to Tokyo, Japan for design, in the school of Tokyo Mode Gakuen.

In 2003, I immigrated to United States and decided to return to school and fulfill my passion in the Arts. I studied all the famous artists, such as Monet, Van Gogh, Renoir, and Rembrandt. When I paint, my mine becomes more focus and at ease. I try to convey a story with each of my paintings, with my feelings express with each gentle stroke onto the canvas. This brings me such joy as I see the results of my work in full display.

I continue to hone my craft under the guidance of Mher Khachatryan, the well known artist born in Armenia, who is famous for his work depicting the beauty of smoke and the danger of smoking. Since working under his guidance, my art has been displayed in many group exhibitions in New Jersey for the past four years. In 2016, I began showing my work in Hong Kong, and since then, I have been commissioned to do many paintings.

I take residence in Fort Lee, New Jersey with my loving and supporting husband Richard.
